Protect archival boxes in open storage
Archival boxes provide an important primary enclosure, but boxes stored on open shelving may still collect dust, receive incidental handling contact or be exposed to minor splashes and light. A fitted outer cover can add a lightweight, removable barrier around a single box, stack or repeated storage format.
A cover should complement suitable archival boxes, environmental management, pest control, safe shelving and leak prevention. It is not a sealed humidity-control enclosure or flood-protection system.

How to measure an archival box
Record the maximum external width, depth and height in millimetres. Measure the box in its normal closed storage position and include projecting handles, closures, label holders or other features.
